Why do some people have multiple Facebook accounts

Several of my Facebook friends seems to have issues with their FB accounts. Over time they open up a second, third, fourth and in one case 5 or 6 accounts.

Well today I got that 6th friend request. And honestly, I am unsure if I am going to accept yet another request from this person.

This is in take because it seems that this person is both a drug addict and a thief.

I say this because I am somewhat if not very such they stole $50 from me back at the end of October 2021 (and maybe again some 34 years ago) and have been told by a good “friend” who was at the time a mutual friend they have know that this person does meth.

Which all that, this new request allows for a clean break. If they really want my friendship they knew where to find me IRL.

To answer the question “why multiple accounts”? The most sited answer is ‘forgot my password’ or something akin to not having access anymore. Haven’t these people heard of having an email address or phone number to reset the password via?
