Tonight Angel is dead

I got a few extra months, it was on her 18 birthday that I last wrote about here. I recently left the house for the office, leaving her on my bed. I trucked her in (folding the comforter over the top of her, to keep her warm. I don’t expect her to be alive when I return, and is so; she will be dead by morning… Or so I assume.

She is in some discomfort, however between COVID, the day and time of the (holiday) week(end), and monetary expenses; euthanasia was not an option. I will work on cremation upon her death; however even that will be both expensive and problematic as it’s President’s Day weekend.
