Today Ashe was found dead.
The rabbit I had to all but fight to keep was dead in her cage when I returned home today. Nothing special, just dead.
Well in truth, there are several notes to make here. One, she was a little ‘sluggish’ the other day and seems to want to stay near the back of the cage. That said, I think there must have been some sort of head wound, maybe something popped out, maybe somehow something got in. Net result she seems to have died of a hole in the head.[1] She bleed out where I found her, her ear was tripped off her head, but still connected on one end, and did not have makes on it, nor did she elsewhere. Just like something popped, she fell over, and bleed out. The ear was the odd part, but maybe that hole was more of the ‘connection’ that the ear has to the dead. Maybe something pulled the ear out of the head, and that is how she died. Sadly, I removed the backyard camera a long time ago.
BUT WAIT… Check the existing camera system for something odd on that day. [Will do].
[1] Was she shot? Did someone some a puncher her head? No, but I just had to ask, as it seems SLG posted a few days later to a social media account photos seemly of her in NoCal.
